Noida, 18th July 2025: On the occasion of International Youth Skills Day, the Young Entrepreneurs’ Summit was successfully organized at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. This grand event was hosted by the Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs (COWE) in collaboration with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) and Startup India, under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The summit aimed to foster entrepreneurial spirit among Indian youth and align with the vision of “Viksit Bharat 2047”.
Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker
The chief guest and keynote speaker, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Mrs. Rekha Gupta, inspired the youth by stating, “The government considers startups and entrepreneurship as the foundation for building a developed India by 2047. If the youth move forward with innovation and self-reliance, India can take strong steps towards global leadership.” Prominent industry leaders also marked their presence, including: Mr. Gopal krishan Aggarwal National spokesperson BJP, Mr. Ramesh Agarwal (Chairman, Agarwal Movers & Packers), Mr. Rahul Bharti (Executive Director, Maruti Suzuki), Mr. Dushyant Singh (Orion), Ms. Amity Gangal (Modarch India), Ms. Daya Krishna Gill (Eco Farms), Ms. Harleen Passricha (DPIIT, Startup India), Ms. Poonam (AGM, SIDBI)
Leadership and Organization
The event was led by Ms. Meetu Puri (National Treasurer, COWE India), who encouraged the youth to become employment generators. Ms. Ria Raheja (President, COWE Uttar Pradesh) emphasized the need for innovation-driven development. Ms. Paridhi Raheja (President, COWE Youth) advocated for connecting startups with government support and investor networks. They were ably supported by Ms. Shikha Ghai, Ms. Stuti Raheja, Ms. Mansi Ghai, and Ms. Anuradha Bhatia, who played key roles in making the event a success.
Educational and Institutional Support
Organizations like Orion, Gaur International School, Shiv Nadar Incubators, Amity Incubator and Eco Farms provided support for the summit. Educational leaders such as: Dr. Sandeep Marwah (Asian Academy of Film and Television – AAFT), Dr. Alka Kapoor (Modern Public School), Ms. Divya Kapoor (President, Amity Art Foundation), Ms. Manju Gaur (Director, Gaur Group of Schools) enriched the summit with academic perspective. Students from Modern Public School and Gaur International School captivated the audience with cultural performances for the Chief Guest.
Startup Showcase and Innovation
Young entrepreneurs from IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, Amity University, and Marwah School showcased innovative startups that presented practical solutions contributing to India’s economic growth.

Held on International Youth Skills Day, the summit included: Startup Pitch Sessions, Panel Discussions with Industry Experts and Networking with Policymakers and Investors. These sessions provided young entrepreneurs with new opportunities and helped bridge the gap between innovation and execution.
