The film opens with Kerala’s vibrant Onam festivities, doorsteps adorned with colourful pookolams, the aroma of an elaborate sadya filling the air, and the rhythmic beats of the chenda setting the mood. Into this lively scene, Kalidas Jayaram makes a grand entry atop a beautifully decorated elephant, surrounded by jubilant family and friends. As the celebrations unfold, the father–son duo shares a conversation, highlighting the richness and variety of Ramraj Cotton’s mundu collections, from the graceful elegance of classic kasavu to contemporary festive motifs.
This year’s Onam Special Collection features Luxury Cotton Dhotis crafted for supreme comfort and elegance, Kasavu Mundu (Jari Dhotis) celebrating the timeless golden border tradition, Cotton Kara Dhotis with classic-coloured borders for a refined festive look, and Printed Border Dhotis blending heritage patterns with contemporary flair.
