Pune, 18 December 2025: TKIL Industries (formerly thyssenkrupp Industries India), a leading player in industrial engineering and manufacturing, has been honoured with four prestigious Safety Awards from the British Safety Council (BSC) at the awards ceremony held in London. The honours position the company among a select group of organisations worldwide that have demonstrated excellence in workplace health, safety, and environment (HSE) management.
These awards were received by Mr. Vivek Bhatia – MD & CEO, Mr. Abhay Ghirnikar – Business Head of Manufacturing, Mr. Sachin Jain – Head of Transformation, and Mr. Shivaraman LVC – Vice President of HSE, and were presented by Mr. Mike Robinson, Chief Executive, British Safety Council (BSC).
At the ceremony, TKIL Industries was recognised with the following awards:
- Sword of Honour – Pimpri Manufacturing Plant: Awarded to the top-performing sites globally, the Sword of Honour recognises workplaces that demonstrate world-class HSE governance, robust risk management, and a deeply embedded safety culture, placing the Pimpri plant among the best industrial facilities worldwide.
- Sword of Honour – Hyderabad Manufacturing Plant: Similarly honouring the Hyderabad plant for exemplary HSE practices that rank it among global leaders.
- Sector Award Winner – Best in Class in the Manufacturing Sector Category: Conferred to the highest-scoring organisation across the global manufacturing sector, this award positions TKIL Industries as the leading example of HSE excellence, leadership, and performance in the entire industry.
- Innovation & Development Award Winner – Hyderabad Manufacturing Plant: This award acknowledges breakthrough HSE innovations implemented at Hyderabad, celebrating new approaches that significantly strengthen risk control, employee engagement, and future-ready safety practices.
