Mumbai , June 5 : Saatvik Green Energy Limited, one of India’s solar PV module manufacturers, has been conferred with the prestigious ‘Brand of the Year’ award at the India Power & Renewable Leadership Awards 2026, in recognition of its contribution to India’s renewable energy sector and commitment to advancing domestic solar manufacturing.
The award recognises organisations that have demonstrated industry leadership, innovation and a meaningful contribution to the growth of the power and renewable energy ecosystem. Winners were selected through a rigorous evaluation process involving an esteemed jury comprising senior government officials, policymakers and industry leaders, along with audience voting.
The recognition was presented at the India Power & Renewable Conference 2026, one of the country’s leading energy industry gatherings, which brought together over 400 stakeholders from across the power and renewable energy value chain. The event featured participation from senior policymakers and sector leaders, including Mr. D. Sai Baba, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Power; Mr. Rajesh Kulhari, Joint Secretary, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE); Mr. Ghanshyam Prasad, Chairman, Central Electricity Authority (CEA); Mr. Akash Tripathi, Managing Director, SECI; and Mr. Jishnu Barua, Chairperson, Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC), among others.
The conference served as a platform for discussions on critical themes shaping India’s energy future, including power system readiness, energy storage, green hydrogen, manufacturing and supply chains, market development and regulatory preparedness.
