Bangalore, 25 August, 2025: In a city that’s vibrantly growing in its dining scene, from Indian to Global cuisines, a new restaurant goes hyperlocal. Bringing forth the true flavours of Kannada villages, Nati Republic is creating a space to savour traditional favourites. Inspired by the Nati cuisine from the state’s villages, it’s a place where locals and food lovers alike can experience the rich, rustic taste of home-cooked delicacies.
Nati translates to “local” or “native,” and the cuisine features Nati Koli (a countryside chicken breed) as a star ingredient. With the use of bold, hand-ground spices and traditional cooking techniques, the restaurant will bring forth the essence of Kannada comfort food via age-old recipes passed down through generations.
For a complete meal, you can select a Veg Thali which includes a delicious spread of Ragi Ball, Avarebele Kurma, Soppina Palya (Dry leafy veggies stir fry), Andhra-style Pappu, Steamed Rice, Rasam, Salad, Appala (Papad) and a cup of sweet dessert.
Non-veg lovers are in for a treat. A meal here is incomplete without the Nati Specials: Nati Koli Saaru, Chicken Chops, Mutton Chops and Special Kheema Balls. The regular starters include Tawa Chicken, Andhra Chilli Chicken, Boti fry, Pudina Prawns, Belluli Kebab. Fiery chicken gravies, simmered with freshly ground masalas, pair perfectly with the traditional Ragi Mudde or soft Neer Dosas.
Talking about the distinct menu, spokesperson Amit Singh Says, “Nati Republic is truly tied to the Nati way of life. We are not serving traditional dishes but creating memories from the countryside on your table. We wish to celebrate the spirit of eating together, discussing the flavours as every bite carries the unmistakable taste of home.”
If you’ve recently moved to the city and always miss the spice and taste of your native, Nati Republic can soon be your comfort food haven. Bring along your friends and family to relish the authentic flavours of home-cooked delicacies.
