Every Naturals outlet has a story, but the new store in Mangalore, Karnataka, is extra special.
For starters, it is India’s largest Naturals’ outlet yet. More importantly, Mangalore is the birthplace of Naturals’ founder, Mr. Raghunandan Srinivas Kamath. It’s where he took his first steps in life and eventually built a business that grew to over ₹300 crore in just four decades. Back then, he could never have imagined that his humble beginnings would lead to India’s most beloved ice cream brand and that fruit-based ice creams would become synonymous with Naturals.
Since the launch on June 11, the response has been heartwarming; filling the team with gratitude for the love Naturals has received over the years. This love has come from cities across the country, spanning generations and countless celebrations.
The new space on Kadri Road, in Mr. Kamath’s hometown, is a reflection of the brand’s legacy. Thoughtfully designed with a distinct vibe, the store carries meaning in every detail. Shaped like an ice cream tub, it pays playful homage to the scoops that made the brand iconic. And in a quiet yet proud tribute to the region, it may be the first store in Mangalore to feature signage in Tulu.
“Opening our largest store in Mangalore, my father’s cherished hometown, feels like a truly beautiful and significant homecoming for us all. It’s a sweet tribute to our deep roots, and we’re thrilled to be back where it all began,” said Siddhant Kamath, Director at Naturals Ice Cream.
This opening is extra special as it gives customers the chance to enjoy the iconic mango ice cream—the very flavour that started it all—alongside other beloved favourites like tender coconut, roasted almond, lychee, and more, in the place where it was first created.
