
Bengaluru, Feb 25: Fortis Hospital Cunningham Road, one of central Bengaluru’s most trusted tertiary care institutions, marked 35 years of dedicated healthcare service to the city with a grand milestone celebration held at The Chancery Pavilion Hotel, Bengaluru. The event was attended by nearly 300 guests, including doctors, senior leadership, staff, patients and well-wishers. Centered around the theme “35 Years: Pioneering Care, Transforming Lives,” the celebration reflected the hospital’s journey from being a pioneering cardiac centre to a modern multispecialty tertiary care institution, while reaffirming its commitment to patient-centric care and high-quality outcomes. The event was filled with warmth, gratitude and nostalgia, as Fortis Cunningham Road revisited its journey through inspiring stories of patients across specialties whose lives have been transformed over the years. The evening also featured felicitations of doctors and staff who have been associated with the hospital since its early years, along with reflections on its 35-year legacy of clinical excellence, innovation and enduring patient trust.
As part of the 35-year milestone, Fortis Cunningham Road announced a series of impactful community health initiatives aimed at extending its care beyond hospital premises. The initiatives include:
o 35-hour mega CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) training marathon, expected to train approximately 3,500 people, empowering citizens with life-saving emergency response skills
o 35% discount on comprehensive health check packages, available until 31 March 2026
o 35 health camps across Bengaluru, focused on underserved and underprivileged communities
o Annual Free health checkup services for 35 old age homes
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Dinesh Gundu Rao Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Govt of Karnataka said,
