8th Edition of Sports Expo India 2025 to be held at Hitex on August 22 and 23

Hyderabad, August 14, 2025: The 8th Edition of Sports Expo India 2025 will be held at Hitex Exhibition Centre on August 22 and 23. Announcing this at a press conference on Wednesday, Mr. T.G. Srikanth, Business Head, Hitex, said India’s premier B2C expo for the Sports, Fitness, Wellness, and Nutrition sectors will witness the launch of eSportEx – an exclusive pavilion dedicated to the booming world of e-sports, gaming, and tech-driven sports experiences.

The expo will feature 60 exhibitors from across the Sports, Fitness, Wellness, and Nutrition sectors. It will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Day 1 and from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Day 2. Entry is free. Over 35,000–40,000 visitors are expected across the two days. Six power-packed activities, suitable for all age groups, will be a major draw.

Mr. Narsimha Reddy of Bigbasket stated that their mission was to make healthy living more accessible.

Mr. Rajesh Vetcha announced that the Hyderabad Runners Society will host 5K and 10K runs of NMDC Hyderabad Marathon in conjunction with the expo. The 5K will be held on August 23, starting and finishing at Hitex. The 10K will be held on August 24, starting from Hitex and ending at Gachibowli Stadium.

Ms. Swathi Vasireddy of Giggle Mug shared that the Pedal Pulse family cycling event will be held on August 23 at 4:00 p.m. in three categories: 1.5 km, 3 km, and 6 km.

Mr. John of Neo Athlos announced that 70+ participants will compete in this fast-growing Pickleball Tournament, which combines tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Hyderabad now boasts over 300 Pickleball courts, with the sport growing globally at a rate of 500%.

Dr. Saurabh Sureka (Celebration Makers) detailed a two-day event Grand Queen Women’s Cricket League – encouraging non-professional women to participate in competitive cricket. On August 22, women will engage in skill challenges with a bowling machine. On August 23, four teams will compete in a T5 tennis ball knockout format.

Mr. Vamsi Krishna V highlighted that eSportEx will be India’s first hybrid platform combining traditional sports with competitive gaming. About 2,500 players and YouTube celebrities are expected to participate.

Other Highlights of the expo include Calisthenics Demonstrations, MMA & Boxing Displays, and the Hydrox Fitness Challenge, offering something for every fitness and sports enthusiast.
