Green Park Free Church, South Delhi, observed Christmas Eve with a serene and spiritually uplifting service as members of the congregation gathered to reflect on the timeless message of peace, love, and hope associated with the birth of Jesus Christ.
The Christmas Eve service featured traditional carol singing, readings from the Holy Scriptures, and special prayers seeking peace, harmony, and well-being for the community and the nation. The church was beautifully illuminated with soft Christmas décor, creating a warm, reflective, and contemplative atmosphere that enhanced the spirit of worship and togetherness among attendees.
Addressing the congregation, Reverend Kamal Mall, Pastor of Green Park Free Church, shared a heartfelt message on the essence of Christmas.
“Christmas is a reminder that hope is born even in the most ordinary moments. The message of Christ calls us to live with humility, compassion, and a deep sense of responsibility towards one another, especially the vulnerable and the marginalised,” he said.
The service encouraged worshippers to look beyond celebration and embrace the deeper meaning of Christmas fostering kindness, empathy, and service to others. Congregants joined in prayerful reflection, expressing gratitude and renewing their commitment to spreading love and goodwill in their daily lives.
