ChanaJor OTT has expanded its content slate with the Hindi premiere of EVOL: A Love Story in Reverse, which is now streaming exclusively on the platform. Originally produced in Telugu and later dubbed in Hindi, the film marks its first-ever Hindi release and strengthens ChanaJor OTT’s presence in the romantic thriller space.
Written and directed by Ram Yogi Velagapudi, EVOL: A Love Story in Reverse stars Jenifer Emmanuel as Nidhi, Shivakumar Ramachandravarapu as Prabhu, and Surya Srinivas as Rishi in lead roles. The film follows an unconventional narrative structure, presenting emotions and relationships in reverse order while exploring themes of love, marriage, and consent.
The story centres on Nidhi, a woman caught between duty and desire. Married to Rishi yet emotionally connected to Prabhu, her life takes an unexpected turn when her husband makes a defining decision and gives her consent to follow her heart. This moment sets off a series of events that reshape relationships and examine the fragile balance between trust, sacrifice, and personal choice.
Describing the film, director Ram Yogi Velagapudi calls EVOL a “love story in reverse that explores the darker, more complex side of human emotions, loyalty, and relationships.” Through its layered storytelling, the film delves into emotionally charged situations and moral dilemmas that challenge conventional ideas of romance.
