Immersive Technology Adds a New Dimension to First Sewa Pakhwada Celebrations

India, September 22, 2025: Sewa Pakhwada, a nationwide initiative dedicated to service and community engagement, is being observed with programmes designed to bring people from all sections of society together. Activities during this fortnight include taking welfare schemes to underserved communities, promoting cleanliness, ensuring access to clean water, and advancing environmental protection campaigns. The initiative highlights a vision of governance rooted in service, ensuring that leadership reaches the poor and vulnerable through meaningful action and participation.

As Sewa Pakhwada celebrations kicked off, an immersive experience has been unveiled across 25+ locations in India, marking the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 17th September and continuing through 2nd October, the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. Powered by cutting-edge mixed-reality technology, the initiative features more than 10 unique experiences that showcase different stages of the Prime Minister’s journey, blending history, innovation, and personal engagement.

Life-size interactive posters have been installed at each location, each depicting a significant milestone. Visitors can scan QR codes on the posters to unlock multimedia narratives in both Hindi and English, making the experience accessible to a wide audience. From his early years to his leadership journey, the initiative allows people to engage with the Prime Minister’s story in an immersive, interactive manner.

With innovation at its core, this launch represents a use of mixed-reality technology to commemorate Sewa Pakhwada, ensuring that celebrations are not only participatory but also forward-looking, blending tradition with modern engagement tools.
